Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team
Developing talent for the offshore world elite
Het Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team
The Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team (ROST) was founded through a collaboration between the Royal Rowing and Sailing Association 'De Maas' and the transport company Van Uden Group. It is led by three-time Volvo Ocean Race sailor Gerd-Jan Poortman. The primary goal of the Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team is to provide talented sailors with the opportunity to develop within the offshore sailing pathway. The team currently consists of a group of talented sailors from The Netherlands, sailing on a Ker 46—an extremely sporty carbon fibre boat and one of the fastest vessels on Dutch waters.
